Rainbow Trees

Rainbow Trees is a wholesale nursery specialising in the production of large trees and specimen grades of a wide range of ornamental plants, both native and exotic. Founded in 1982 the nursery is on 16 hectares of land at Ramarama, approximately 40kms (30 minutes drive) south of Auckland city. Rainbow Trees is a modern container nursery surrounded by natural and artificial shelter. Trees are produced in containers and easy-lift bags in a peat based growing medium containing high-quality, slow release fertilisers. All trees are trained and tied to support structures and individually watered. The nursery utilises a Priva environmental computer system to provide the most efficient irrigation and water management possible.
