RYCO Equipment

RYCO Equipment

In 1981, RYCO founder, Bob Ryan, patented his first machine. With the change of the fishing industry (more in-depth industry history here) it was clear that the mass production of seafood was in dire need of innovative equipment. In 2000, Ryan officially founded RYCO Equipment. For decades he led RYAN/RYCO Equipment, furthering the company’s growth more and more with innovative products. In October of 2016, after a lifetime of accomplishments, Bob Ryan passed away surrounded by his loved ones. After working under his father and other key players in the industry for 20+ years, his son, Erik Murphy took over as official President and CEO of RYCO Equipment and has continued his fathers legacy. RYCO has made a drastic impact on the fishing industry and continues to design innovative products and branch out to other industries. What started as a small one machine venture for Bob Ryan has turned into a worldwide legacy.
