If you are looking for a small, low maintenance, low cost spreader, the versatile AG 10, 3 point hitch spreader is the unit for you. This unit was designed for the small farmer and for those who need a spreader that will go where no other spreader can. The spreader can be mounted in 3 point hitch mode, or towed with an optional tow hitch. This unit is especially well suited for trellised vineyards and unusually hilly terrain. The spreader can be built with a rear spinner assembly or with a font auger configuration.

This special variant of the AG 100 spreader  has combined the abilities of a rear broadcasting spreader, and a front banding and injecting model. This unit is just as reliable as the standard AG 100, and it is far more cost effective if your needs require both banding and spreading. This unit has the same features and specifications as its AG 100 parent, plus the added benefit of being able to reconfigure from a broadcaster to a bander in a matter of minutes, and only requiring one tool. This unit is especially a big hit with fertilizer dealers who rent the equipment out with the sale of the fertilizer because it’s versatility allows them to have a smaller fleet of spreaders, and still meet the varying needs of their customers.

This is S&A’s most popular spreader. It has proven to stand up to years of use. We have had customers who have made them last for 20+ years simply by utilizing excellent maintenance programs. It has also been modified countless times to fit a customers specific needs. It has a 2 ton capacity, all oil enclosed gearboxes including a 2 speed gearbox, which can double the delivery rate when shifted into high gear. This enables the spreader to have a range between 150 to 2000 pounds per acre. This spreader has successfully been used to spread commercial fertilizer, lime, gypsum, ash, compost and sand, dry chicken litter, dolomite, sulfur, compost, and even small grain seeds.

This special variant of the AG 100 spreader is nearly the same as its parent, except for its capacity. It can carry twice as much as the AG 100 spreader, a full 5 tons. The wheels, axles, and frame are more heavily constructed to stand up to the rigors of lugging around 5 tons of material. This unit will last many years if well maintained. This unit is very popular in applications which a 73″ height is not a problem. Since this unit carries more than twice the material at a time, it increases your productivity time greatly, allowing you to spend more time spreading and less time running back for another load. We also have a less expensive chain driven 5 ton spreader.
