If you are looking for a small, low maintenance, low cost spreader, the versatile AG 10, 3 point hitch spreader is the unit for you. This unit was designed for the small farmer and for those who need a spreader that will go where no other spreader can. The spreader can be mounted in 3 point hitch mode, or towed with an optional tow hitch. This unit is especially well suited for trellised vineyards and unusually hilly terrain. The spreader can be built with a rear spinner assembly or with a font auger configuration.

This special variant of the AG 100 spreader  has combined the abilities of a rear broadcasting spreader, and a front banding and injecting model. This unit is just as reliable as the standard AG 100, and it is far more cost effective if your needs require both banding and spreading. This unit has the same features and specifications as its AG 100 parent, plus the added benefit of being able to reconfigure from a broadcaster to a bander in a matter of minutes, and only requiring one tool. This unit is especially a big hit with fertilizer dealers who rent the equipment out with the sale of the fertilizer because it’s versatility allows them to have a smaller fleet of spreaders, and still meet the varying needs of their customers.

This is S&A’s most popular spreader. It has proven to stand up to years of use. We have had customers who have made them last for 20+ years simply by utilizing excellent maintenance programs. It has also been modified countless times to fit a customers specific needs. It has a 2 ton capacity, all oil enclosed gearboxes including a 2 speed gearbox, which can double the delivery rate when shifted into high gear. This enables the spreader to have a range between 150 to 2000 pounds per acre. This spreader has successfully been used to spread commercial fertilizer, lime, gypsum, ash, compost and sand, dry chicken litter, dolomite, sulfur, compost, and even small grain seeds.

This special variant of the AG 100 spreader is nearly the same as its parent, except for its capacity. It can carry twice as much as the AG 100 spreader, a full 5 tons. The wheels, axles, and frame are more heavily constructed to stand up to the rigors of lugging around 5 tons of material. This unit will last many years if well maintained. This unit is very popular in applications which a 73″ height is not a problem. Since this unit carries more than twice the material at a time, it increases your productivity time greatly, allowing you to spend more time spreading and less time running back for another load. We also have a less expensive chain driven 5 ton spreader.

The features of these units are similar to those of the NU 230 6 ton skid mounted tender. These tenders come standard with a 8 5/8″  bottom cross auger and a 10″ side folding discharge auger. The cross auger has shutoff doors above it to keep the weight off the auger and allow accurate metering of the product to be unloaded. These high capacity tenders have individual compartments (2 on the smaller and 3 on the larger units) that allow you to load and discharge different materials if you wish, eliminating the need to return and change loads. Roll tarps are standard on these units.  The tenders  hydraulics can be operated off the truck hydraulics or PTO, or by a completely self contained hydraulic system with a pump, reservoir, and a gas or diesel engine matched to the size of the tender.

S & A’s NUG 228 fertilizer tender is designed to supply fertilizer spreaders in an efficient, continuous, labor saving manner. The NUG 228 is a self contained, gravity flow, hydraulically driven unit. The 220 cubic foot, 6 ton capacity hopper is constructed of 14 gauge stainless steel, is supported by 1/4″ steel supporting members, and is mounted on a heavy duty, tubular steel, tandem axle trailer.

S & A’s NU 230 skid mounted hydraulic fertilizer tender is designed for those that don’t want to pay extra for a trailer, and have something to mount the unit on, be it a tandem axle flatbed, a truck chassis, or a running gear. The result is a lower cost unit that can be removed from the trailer, chassis, etc. and set aside when not needed freeing up the unit it was mounted to for other tasks.

Delivery of fertilizer to the customers site is a major expense for most companies. Hauling fertilizer on public roads in towable tenders opens the door for overloading and potential accident liability. S&A’s 32T Portable Storage Bin solves this problem by providing a means of delivering the product directly to the customers site.

S&A is proud to present our TL 11.5-15 Belt Conveyor, which has been designed by users in the field with easy maintenance, versatility, and of course durability, foremost in mind.  It has heavy duty mild steel construction, 24″ self-cleaning 225# Chevron belting, removable lagging, a 4″ bottom table, hydraulically adjustable downspout, plastic slides under the belt (or troughing rollers), single axle with scissor lift, a belt cover, and other features for the efficient unloading of railcars.  Available with a 24 HP Honda air-cooled 2-cylinder gasoline engine or a 46 HP Deutz diesel engine, these units have power to spare.  The engine, hydraulic pump, and variable speed controls make this unit very easy to maintain.
