The HALO VRT is the industry’s first variable rate tillage machine on a forward folding, high-speed disk frame. The VRT is engineered to perform the job of multiple tillage machines faster and more efficiently. The HALO VRT features adjustable blade angles to adapt tillage intensity to any field condition with complete control from the tractor cab allowing operators to choose tillage intensity. The narrow, forward folding frame, transports safely and easily between farms and fields. Multiple finishing options with hydraulic down pressure help to achieve the desired field texture. Whether adjustments are needed in the field, from field to field, or from season to season the HALO VRT performs the work of multiple tillage machines in one simple-to-operate platform.

Salford’s HALO HSD high-speed disk is engineered for speed, performance, and ease of use.  The HALO HSD features maintenance-free blade hubs and advanced seal technology. The HALO HSD is capable of multi-season tillage and operates between 8 and 14-mph to perform superior leveling in less time. The HALO’s individually mounted blades are mounted on a rubber torsion suspension providing maximum clearance and obstacle protection.

The first Salford true vertical tillage machine and inaugural Independent Series model, the I-1100 sets the standard for seedbed preparation and residue management. The I-1100 is the go-to conservation tillage tool for light to medium soils and medium to high residue. Originally known as the Residue Tillage Specialist (RTS), the I-1100 is equipped with the patented Coil-Tech Coulter that loosens compaction for improved root development and increased moisture storage. Build for performance, the durable I-1100 frame is the platform for the entire I-Series lineup of innovative tillage machines.

Set your highest field standard with the I-1200. The second model in Salford’s Independent Series, the I-1200 creates the finest seedbeds, taking field prep and performance to the next level. This true vertical tillage machine is designed with 5 inch blade spacing that gives the I-1200 forty percent more blades and more weight compared to the I-1100. The tighter blade spacing makes the I-1200 capable of more mechanical weed control than most Independent Series tools. The leveling power of this model delivers superior surface tillage and residue management and does a superior job of sizing and incorporating residue.

The BBI Pull Type Hydraulic Litter Spreaders, Shavings Spreaders, Compost Spreaders,Organics Spreader and Lime Spreaders are available in different hopper styles from 10 to 28 ft long. With the BBI Walking Beam Suspension, your Endurance spreader can handle just about any Terrain. Celebrating a decade of improving soil productivity the patented I-1100 RTS uses the Coil-Tech Coulter^TM to carry indepently mounted blades that have up to 6” vertical travel and are able to move around obstacles. Salford`s stainless steel meters use a poly peg roller for accurate meeting of almost any commodity at virtually any rate.  Individual metering compartments ensure that the same amount of product is delivered to each run for highly accurate application rates.

Adding attachments to the Independent series tools allows producers to combine industry leading residue management with cost saving, environmentally conscious nutrient stewardship.  Independent series tools can be equipped to apply NH3, liquid or dry fertilizer.  Independent series tools work fast and open the window to a wider range of operating conditions, allowing you to apply fertilizer at the right time.   Independent series tools incorporate at a uniform depth and gently firm the soil to ensure product is at the right place.
