The 9700 CTS is designed to reduce equipment capital and operating costs by performing so many operations with this one machine. Salford`s unique design allows you to use the CTS for top soil tillage, minimum tillage, deep tillage finishing or deep ripping, to reduce your capital costs and maintenance. The 9700 can be configured with chisel shanks and/or parabolic shanks.  The heavy 1 1/4` x 4` shanks handle the CTS`s trip pressure, adjustable up to 4000 lbs, with the optional third trip spring.   The disc gang can be hydraulically raised and lowered depending on the level of residue resizing you need.  Optional shank lockup kits allow you to  manually raise individual shanks to customize shank spacing.  This feature also allows the CTS to pull more easily in heavy ground or if you are operating with a lower horsepower tractor.

The Salford 9800 Disc Ripper Harrow is designed to go deep and stay deep.  Where other disc rippers and tillage tools often ride up and over tough obstacles in the soil profile, the 9800`s weight and 6`x8`main frame keep this machine at depth to break up compacted soil.  The individual blade mounts hold each blade on a compound angle improving ground penetration and holding the machines front end in the ground. With the ability to switch between chisel shanks and parabolic shanks on this one frame, the 9800 offers the soil density reduction options you are looking for regardless of how much land you cover.  The Salford 9800 has been designed with durability, power and performance in mind.
