SERAP is a family business set up in 1963 in Mayenne, Europe`s leading dairy producing region. Its vocation: to become experts in (bulk) food-grade liquid conservation and processing. SERAP specialises in stainless steel boiler-making and heat exchange systems, developing, manufacturing and marketing milk coolers and wine-making equipment as well as equipment for cryogenic processes and freezing for the food-processing, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. SERAP is an independent company and opened up its capital to employees on a voluntary basis. Today more than 90% of SERAP employees are company shareholders. The company has led the development of milk collection from cooling in cans to major installations in France and throughout the world.
