Sicma srl (Società Italiana Costruzione Macchine Agricole) was founded in 1991, as a logical consequence of the experience of its founder in the field of the mechanical harvesting of olives. Sicma technology was then successfully tested and adopted for the harvest of walnuts, almonds, pecans, pine nuts, macadamia, sour cherry, etc. We design and build agricultural HARVESTERS for olives, walnuts, almonds, macadamia, pecans and fruit processing industry (i.e. apple, cherry, plums) and other hanging fruits, adopting the most advanced technology to satisfy harvesting needs in any growing condition, at any latitude. First choice materials, cutting-edge technology and care for details are the main Sicma’s strengths, top leader for quality standards.

The agronomic skills combined with knowledge in mechanic and hydraulic engineering, have led to the first harvesting kits coupled to tractors, later on implemented by the reverse umbrella for the end-to-end fruit harvesting process. After few years, Sicma designed and built the first specialized 3-wheel self-propelled units with the aim to optimize agility and power in any growing condition. Currently, the company is made up of distinct departments: administration, sales, design and technic, research & development, spare parts and post-sale assistance, metal carpentry, painting, assembly, mechanics and hydraulics.
Sicma’s staff is qualified, trained and constantly updated. Most of the members are involved in the Sicma team from the beginning.

Sicma technology is spread over 20 Countries. The company has unanimously reached high quality standards, which place it among the world leaders in this sector....
Today, Sicma philosophy runs parallel on a double track: improving existing solutions and introducing innovative technology.
Sicma’s harvesters condense years of field experience on several perennial fruit species, grown in different environments and with peculiar agronomic techniques.
We recently tested our solutions for the mechanical harvest of fruit processing industry (e.g. cherries, plums, apples, citrus), with excellent results. Nowadays, we are continuously testing the effectiveness of our solutions on other perennial species.
Sicma designs and manufactures a wide range of self-propelled and tractor-mounted harvesters in its own facilities, with powers ranging from 67 to 140 Hp, either equipped or not with reverse umbrella. The harvester kit can be coupled either on wheeled or tracked tractors as well as on different drive units (e.g. excavators, skid steers, telescopic handlers), thus completing the range of machines to best meet the harvesting needs at any latitude.
Recently, from Sicma’s experience in the mechanical harvesting of olives and hanging fruits and from the professionalism and reliability of F.lli DIECI handlers, a winning, versatile and effective technological combination was born. Exclusively, the Agri Farmer 28.7 and Mini Agri 26.6 handlers can be provided with the Sicma harvesting kit. Once harvest is ended, the telehandler can be coupled with the range of accessories offered by the Dieci company (e.g. forks, buckets etc.)
Sicma technology is harvesting in over than 20 Countries, from Australia to Argentina, from Spain to Chile from Turkey to South Africa, through Greece, Portugal, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Tunisia etc., meaning quality, reliability and versatility, in any environmental condition, at any latitude.
Sicma harvesters claim the innovative New Generation Vibration System at high frequencies which ensures fruit abscission by peduncle torsion in a short time. The double speed and the bi-directional vibration sense guarantee maximum harvesting standard, effective even on small-fruit size genotypes. This allows up to 99 % of the fruit harvested according with genotype, fruit size and ripeness stage.
Sicma designs and manufactures 6 models of vibrating heads, different in weight, size and opening, although all of them characterized by the high vibration performance. The goal is to offer a wide range of technological solutions to be adaptable to several drive units to solve the harvesting problems in different growing conditions.
The vibrating heads, with the exclusive double jaws, were designed to best conform the natural development of the tree trunk and main scaffolds into the space. The self-centering system allows to tighten the wooden organs in a short time, even with imperfect alignment.
Moreover, the self-braking vibration peculiarity, reduces maneuver times.
Finally, the self-braking characteristic combined with patented rubber blends, dramatically reduce the potential risks of debarking.
