Specialist in the design and manufacture of material for vegetable cultivation. The company Simon was formed in 1968 by Mr Simon. It designs and manufactures a specialist range of material for vegetable cultivation: soil preparation, planting, harvesting, etc. The Cultirateau, the Simon brand`s flagship product, is designed for soil preparation for cultivation in seed beds. More than 5000 units have been manufactures since its launch. The range also includes harvesting equipment for vegetable farmers and the industries of food agriculture, beetroots and turnips. Simon also manufactures equipment for the cultivation of leeks (planters and harvesters), onions (mowers, digger-swathers and loaders), salad vegetables (lamb`s lettuce, shoot and iceberg lettuce harvesters). Located in the heart of the vegetable-growing Loire valley, near Nantes, the company developed in collaboration with the local vegetable farmers before spreading throughout the world.
