Tabor Group was established in 1984 in Roanoke, VA. Our Sales office is located at 3144 Brambleton Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24018. Tabor Group (TGI) markets strictly to equipment distributors. Forrest Tabor, TGI President, began marketing Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL’s) in the mid 1980’s to the poultry industry. In the early 1990’s TGI expanded lighting sales into Swine. TGI represents vertically
integrated manufacturers that have proven field performance, as lighting applications must function in very harsh environments, yet still offer long life.

We have many close affiliations with many agricultural colleges, extension agents and field research specialists. We work with many companies to maintain ongoing field testing to insure that the products we represent perform at the highest levels. TGI has also developed specialized software to help with accurate lighting layouts for retrofitting and new construction farms.
