Linn Enterprises, Inc., began some 32 years before and, was initially founded by a group of 12 area businessmen. These investors organized the business with the intention of developing a company to provide employment for the local and area, rural communities. Linn Enterprises` original focus was in manufacturing portable panels and hog panels. Upon realization of this goal, the employment and facilities grew, expanding the company`s line of livestock handling equipment to include: continuous fencing; gates; stationary and portable circular livestock handling systems; the `O.K.Corral`; as well as, manual and hydraulic livestock handling chutes. The Smerchek family is committed to maintaining the plant in Linn, with plans to continue to grow and expand, as well ensure continuation of the same goals of the original founders of Linn Enterprise, Inc.
