Unitread® Quick Release – Connect / Disconnect couplings are manufactured by M/s.United Tyrekrafts Pvt Ltd, Pune, India. Unitread® developed its first pneumatic coupling in the year 1977, primarily to meet the requirement for inflating tubes of tyres while moulding them. By 1981, Unitread® developed double shutoff steam couplings again for tyre mould presses. By 1985, Unitread®, had slowly progressed to application based couplings and started developing varieties as per customer requirements for Pnuematics, hydraulics, refrigeration, chemical, and many others. More concentration and volume businesses were obtained from auto workshops, two wheeler/car and truck, car manufacturers for the assembly lines. By the year 2000, Unitread® moved out of Pnuematics and started working on Hydraulic couplings and more focus and development activity followed.
