Since our founding, technology, regulations, and storage building safety have constantly evolved and improved and U.S. Chemical Storage has been committed to staying on the forefront of safety. As technology and regulations have changed over time, our passion for safely protecting your reputation and providing second-to-none service through custom-engineered buildings has only grown. What started as a privately-owned prefabricated metal building business in the early 80s, began making EPA-compliant chemical buildings by the end of the decade. Featuring a welded containment sump, these buildings were very simple compared today’s models. As building and fire codes evolved, so did our building designs. Development of 4-hour fire-rated wall designs, FM approval, and countless safety options increased chemical storage safety in industries worldwide.
