The VAKI Wellboat Channel Counter is particularly useful during splitting and grading operations, as it provides critical data on the number of fish in each size group. This data allows commercial aquaculture operators to gain key insights upon which they can base ongoing feed planning. The Wellboat Channel Counter also provides a documented counting report and it records images of the actual count for future validation.

The VAKI Pipeline Counter provides aquaculture operators with highly-accurate counting functionality and the fish remain in water at all times. The Pipeline Counter provides operators with a detailed counting report, along with a digital record of images which are saved for full verification of the count. The Pipeline Counter also can be mounted directly onto a grader, or onto the end of a pipe at the tank.

The VAKI Wellboat Smolt Counter is specially designed for use with big vacuum pumps on wellboats. The well proven technology on hatcheries all over the world, has been adapted to the wellboats, and it gives accurate count that can be verified with images of every fish. The size distribution and average weight of the smolt is also available on the sofisticated software. The capacity is very high, with even flow of fish through the counter it can cope with more than 300,000 smolts per hour.

The Macro has a capacity of 200,000 smolts or 1 million 1g fry per hour and has a 100 cm wide counting area. With a range from 0.1g - 400g the Macro is ideal suited for accurate and fast delivery of fry and smolts. The Macro can be delivered both as single or 4 channel.

The Macro Counters are designed to count smolts, fish fry and juveniles from 0.05g.  Each counter is based on a scanning camera and computer vision. The fish are carried gently in water through the scanning area where the outlines are recorded. Counting software is used to analyse and count each image. Even at maximum capacity the counter is extremely accurate - over 99%.  The counters can be supplied as multi channel versions to count directly from a grading machine. The inlet and outlet can be custom-built for special requirements.

The VAKI Bioscanner Fish Counter provides accurate information on the number of fish in sea cages, ponds, tanks and raceways. This highly-accurate fish counter allows for precise deliveries of smolt. When harvesting, the Bioscanner provides lower manpower costs and higher efficiency. Additionally, the Bioscanner can provide data on the number of fish in each size group, when used in conjunction with graders. By utilizing the VAKI Bioscanner, aquaculture operations can achieve more accurate feeding quantities and medical dosages, and have greater confidence in insurance value assessments.

The VAKI Nano Counter provides commercial aquaculture operators with highly-accurate counting of fish from as small as 0.05g. The Nano Counter has very high capacity 200,000 fish per hour at 1g size, and the fish remain in water at all times. The Nano provides operators with a detailed counting report and saved digital record of images which are saved for full verification of the count.
