UltraSorb R is a ruminant-specific mineral feed developed to reduce the impact of mycotoxins. Ruminants can be frequently exposed to health-threatening mycotoxins through feed and bedding, especially those produced by Fusarium and Aspergillus species.

UltraSorb R Core is ruminant-specific premixture containing Volac’s Core technology to offer customers the opportunity to customise the product by including local clays. The product is offered in conjunction with our technical services, to offer local solutions for local mycotoxin problems.

RumiBEO is a novel, encapsulated phytogenic feed additive developed specifically to alter rumen fermentation kinetics. RumiBEO contains a synergistic blend of essential oils, to avoid rumen adaptation, it’s a matrix encapsulation for precision release in the rumen. A prebiotic yeast is included to support the rumen microbial population. RumiBEO has been shown to reduce lactate production and increase propionic production improving animal performance and production.

UltraCell is Volac’s registered strain of live probiotic yeast, specifically selected for use in dairy nutrition, supporting the rumen`s natural function.

Ecosyl is ideal for a wide range of crops and ensiling conditions. It has been thoroughly proven to better fermentation and animal performance. Ecosyl contains MTD/1 - a special strain of bacteria which is only found in the Ecosyl range of silage additives.

Ecocool is for use with grass, maize, legumes and cereal/legume bi-crops at risk of aerobic spoilage. It combines two unique bacterial strains in one inoculant, Lactobacillus plantarum strain MTD/1 for improved fermentation and Lactobacillus buchneri strain PJB/1 for improved aerobic stability, giving you more better quality silage to feed.

DA Ecocorn is for use with maize and wholecrop cereals and delivers improved fermentation and animal performance as well as better aerobic stability. It combines the unique Lactobacillus plantarum MTD/1 inoculant with potassium sorbate, a safe, non-corrosive food and feed-approved preservative. DA Technology allows these to be supplied together in one easy to use pack.

Heiferlac was developed specifically for the modern dairy heifer calf and offers very high levels of pure dairy protein, lactose and a specially selected blend of vegetable oils. Heiferlac has been formulated after careful consideration of the effect the first few weeks of life can have on the modern dairy cow when she joins the milking herd. It helps deliver the rapid early frame growth necessary to achieve high target weights to bulling and beyond. Heiferlac is ideal for once and twice a day feeding, cold ad-lib (pH 5.8) and some ad-lib systems requiring an instant mixing powder.
