Stubble Rake for Weed Seed Germination

The Weaving Stubble Rake has been developed to redistribute chopped straw and chaff after harvest. With its unique tine configuration and design, it is able to create ideal conditions in which weed-seeds and volunteers will readily germinate allowing for control before drilling. This machine is able to decimate slug eggs and weeds including black grass in growing crops. The Stubble Rake is used at high speeds and is able to work over a large acreage in a short amount of time. The original Weaving Stubble Rake has been subject to redesign and new model is available from Spring 2023. The updated model remains simple yet effective, but is now lighter and stronger to allow for larger width machines to be used on smaller tractors. The new model is 3-piece fold, allowing the transport height to stay the same whilst increasing working width.

Seedbed Preparation Tillage Machine

The Energiser is a tillage machine suitable for seedbed preparation, straw redistribution and soil loosening. Working depth is between 0 and 15cm (6”). 167mm spacing between legs is similar to our Sabre drill allowing for high volumes of trash to flow through and ensure all ground is worked. The 4 rows of 40mm points are mounted to the frame using coil tines allowing for a variety of different points to be used. These are followed by a full width ‘V’ ring roller to leave a level finish. Removable scraper arms allow for quick replacement and to aid clearing larger debris. All models can be fitted with a Magnum Seeder for cover crop, grass and OSR establishment. The Energiser is currently available as a 6-metre working width, with additional working widths under development.

conventional Farming System

Whether a minimum tillage or conventional farming system, the Weaving ShortDisc offers itself as a great multipurpose tool that can be used for chitting weed-seeds and volunteers into stubble, incorporating organic matter or creating a stale seedbed. Due to its functional versatility and heavy-duty design, the Weaving ShortDisc can save machinery, fuel and labour costs per hectare without compromising on yield or quality. The configuration of the front cutting discs followed by the full width roller allows the ShortDisc to effectively chop through any harvest crop residue, then leave an even stale seedbed. This fast and effective cultivator can be fitted with a Weaving Magnum Seeder and splash plate arrangement allowing it to drill cover crops, small seeds and oil seed rape at a low cost. The ShortDisc is available in 3 – 6 metre working widths, all in a mounted format.

Livestock - Silage Technology

Mammut - Silo Bucket

Mammut offer an array of feeding and silaging technology as well as the concrete mixers which we have been selling for over the last 20 years. Whether mixing animal feed or concrete, we continually received strong customer feedback about the quality, reliability and convenience of these machines, so we knew that Mammut was a brand that we could trust. More recently, we have begun to stock Mammut’s silaging technology, again it is well made, innovative equipment and we believe there are real feed efficiency benefits that can be gained from products like the Silo Bucket.

Mammut - Silo Roller for Feed Compaction

The Mammut Silo Roller is designed to rapidly compact distributed feed, ensuring optimal depth effect and improving the efficiency of the harvest chain. It enhances feed quality by reducing air inclusions, thus minimizing the risks of fermentation errors or mold. The uniform compaction promotes better lactic acid fermentation and increases the palatability of basic feed. The roller’s 940 mm diameter and 200 mm high discs provide intensive compaction, and their 195 mm spacing ensures consistent performance. The frame and roller can be filled with additional ballast, allowing customization of the total weight to match various tractor sizes. Hydraulic side shift enables the roller to move 500 mm left or right for safe and comfortable operation, particularly along edges and silo walls. The side-mounted rollers protect the silo walls, reducing wear and tear. This machine comes with a one-year warranty, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction.
