Witzenhausen-Institut

The Witzenhausen-Institute is one of the leading Consulting offices in Germany for waste management and renewable primary products and energy. The Institute was founded in 1989 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Habil. Klaus Wiemer and Dr. Michael Kern emerged from the University of Kassel. It consists of a team of committed engineers and scientists of different special fields. Witzenhausen-Institut has become known as a service company in the fields of waste and environment beyond Germany due to the annually arranged Kasseler Abfallforum, the largest German fair for waste management and due to the more than 50 manuals which are published.
