WoodMaxx, wood chippers are represented around the globe, with machines as far away as Hawaii, and Alaska, as well as several countries including: Ecuador Chile, Honduras, Russia, Panama, Columbia, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Israel, West Africa. Greece, Norway, Iceland, Ireland and of course Canada! WoodMaxx Power Equipment Ltd. was started in the spring of 2009 by Kurt Schie, a military veteran of 14 years, husband, and proud father of five children. The idea was conceived when Kurt was looking for a compact yet strong PTO chipper that could hold up to the rigors of clearing a 15 acre parcel he owned. Unsatisfied with any of the machines available on the market, he set out to develop his own.
