Wyma`s Gooseneck Bin Filler gently fills bins with minimal produce drop. Our Gooseneck Bin Filler gently fills bins with produce. The gooseneck outfeed means the distance between the end of the elevator and the bottom of the bin is minimal to avoid produce damage. A sensor on the nose of the gooseneck detects the bottom of the bin, and activates a feed conveyor that starts feeding produce to the Bin Filler. As the bin fills, the gooseneck slowly adjusts to maintain minimal distance between the nose and the produce pile. The feed conveyor stops when the bin is full and the gooseneck moves up so the bin can be removed. This is all sensor-controlled.

Our Vibrating Length Sizer accurately sizes long produce prior to packaging. Our Vibrating Length Sizer sizes long produce prior to packaging. Produce is fed onto the sizer bed which is made up of corrugated channels. The bed vibrates to spread produce across its width. Produce moves into the corrugated channels and moves towards the outfeed. As produce moves forward, a series of adjustable openings allow short produce or pieces to fall through while longer produce bridges the opening and continues on. The Wyma Vibrating Length Sizer can separate up to four sizes: three through the adjustable openings and the longest size exiting at the outfeed. Opening sizes can be easily changed using adjusters on each side of the machine.

Wyma’s Horizontal Soil Remover removes dirt, roots and debris from potatoes.  Our Horizontal Soil Remover removes dirt, roots and other debris from potatoes. It has a belt with rubber pintles. Potatoes and debris are fed onto the belt. Potatoes are carried forward and directed to the outfeed chute by the powered sweep roller. Debris falls through the pintles to the base of the belt. It is carried under the sweep roller to the waste chute at the end of the machine. You can adjust the gap between the powered sweep roller and the belt to control the size of the debris that will be removed from produce flow. The powered sweep roller has a weight balancing mechanism to prevent the roller from applying too much pressure on the belt. This prevents debris from getting lodged in the belt.
