Granulated urea fertiliser can be used for pre-plant application in irrigation and dry land cropping, and for side or top dressing pasture and forage crops, grain, cotton, vegetables and sugarcane. Also used in tree and vine crops. If surface-applied without incorporation, the best results are achieved when applied before rain or irrigation. However, BLACK UREA® is the preferred option for surface applications. ALLFERT™ UREA can also be applied in irrigation water, and as a foliar spray. This product is not recommended for repeated foliar application on annual or perennial horticultural crops. This product may be used in stock feed supplements for ruminants. Cattle should be introduced to urea slowly, feeding 15g/day initially and increasing it by this amount weekly, until a rate of 60g/day is reached. Urea is poisonous if fed in excessive quantities, or too quickly. Plentiful roughage should be available. Do not feed urea to starving stock. Contact your Regional Sales Consultant for assistance. STORAGE It is generally recommended that fertiliser not be stored in silos. If it is necessary to store this fertiliser in a silo, it should be for a short period of time, i.e. temporary storage immediately prior to use. SAFETY DIRECTIONS Avoid ingestion and inhaling product. Avoid contact with eyes and the skin. Wash hands after use. CARE OF EQUIPMENT This product can be corrosive to metals. Clean equipment after use, and follow manufacturers’ advice. Before using the fertiliser seek appropriate agronomic and/or animal husbandry advice. Fertiliser may burn and/or damage pasture and crops, and may affect animal health.
