Biopipe+ and Bioflo+ are ideal biological filter media for use in RAS (Recirculation Aquaculture System). Our uniquely designed media provides a large protected surface area for biofilm development and optimal conditions for bacteria culture growth.RAS (Recirculation Aquaculture System) are designed to recirculate the water from fish farming tanks after it has been through biological treatment. This reduces water usage compared to traditional fish farming systems where supplementary water is required. This in turn lowers the operating costs and environmental impact of fish farms. We manufacture our media at our state-of-the-art factory in the UK, which gives us complete control over our supply chain.
