Cow brushes bring comfort, hygiene and peace and they contribute significantly to a happy and healthy livestock. Cow brushes are large round brushes that slowly rotate and can be easily installed in a stall. Cows scratch themselves here with evident pleasure to smooth itches down and to give their skin it’s beauty treatment. What is the effect? The skin’s blood flow is stimulated and so the cows get a healthier and shinier skin. Research shows that the use of cow brushes increases the milk produc- tion in 1l, per cow, per day and besides that, cows are less affected by mastitis. What do you need and hoe does it work? One cow brush is enough for 50 to 60 cows. Comfy Cow has developed two types of electric cow brushes: the Comfy Brush and de Roto Brush. The cow brush rotates only when a cow pushes against it. They switch off if they are left untouched for 15 seconds. The cow brush is supplied ready to use and it’s easy to install in a stall in a pole or in a wall. Maintenance The cow brushes require little or no maintenance al all. The brush itself can work up to 3 years and it’s easy to replace as a single component. Every time that the brush starts, it turns in the opposite direction. It has an ergonomic design, an extra long brush-as and additionally, it moves up and down. This gathers the perfect conditions to brush large areas and places that are difficult to reach such as head, back, tail and sides. As an option, the brush can be delivered with an additional function which allows it to rotate in two directions: clockwise and anti-clockwise.
