In 1998 BOAL Systems introduced the first MX system to combine the benefits of a greenhouse with an outdoor cultivation climate by opening the roof in total. Bedding plants, trees and outdoor plants grow well in this type of greenhouse. As the windows are opened, heat and moisture easily escape out of the greenhouse and plants are directly exposed to the sun; the ventilators can almost open vertically. A small opening of the ventilators creates the “chimney effect” and generates lots of ventilation.
