Iden Biotechnology, among the innovative SMES beneficiary of H2020-superbio’s project services
IDEN BIOTECHNOLOGY, AMONG THE INNOVATIVE SMEs BENEFICIARY OF H2020-SUPERBIO’s PROJECT SERVICES
SuperBIO is an innovation project with 10 partners from 6 European countries funded by the European Commission’s programme Horizon 2020 (H2020). The project’s aim is to develop innovative value chains in the bio-based economy, involving the European industrial community related to the bio-based economy.
The SuperBIO project has provided innovation services to at least 37 SMEs, external to the project, which form part of the value chains identified. Iden Biotechnology was selected to take part of this group.
In the framework of SuperBIO project, IDEN has advanced on the development and consolidation of the value chain of an strategical bioestimulant product, BIOAGRIBOOSTER. This biostimulant is developed from extracts derived from microorganisms. With the application of BIOAGRIBOOSTER, a yield increase of up to 20% in tomato is achieved.
SuperBIO has funded a minimum of 75% of the cost of the services provided, from which SMEs have benefited to mature their business models, their biotreatments (BIOPROCESSES) and their bioproducts.
