Pentair Hypro - 3D Ninety Nozzles

3D Ninety has been designed in partnership with Syngenta using wind tunnel research and agronomic field trials to optimize and test the droplet spectrum, velocity, spray angle and incline. In field trials at the Syngenta Barton Black-grass Innovation Centre, the 3D ninety gave a 2.5 percentage point improvement in black-grass control, compared to conventional low drift nozzles – equating to over 150 plants per m2 in the trial plots. The 3D ninety also performed 9% better than the existing industry-standard grass weed application 3D nozzle at the recommended 200 l/ha.

The unique incline and spray angle are optimised for even application of pre-emergence herbicides and potato blight fungicides applied at higher water volumes and other fungicide applications onto established crops.

Made from durable Polyacetal engineering polymer, spray angle and incline are optimised for 40-60 cm boom height. Available in 6 sizes 03, 035, 04, 05, 06 and 08, all of which have a 4 star 90% drift rating from Silsoe. Order part number e.g. FC-3DN90-03 which include an easy twist Snaplock cap (a specific version for 3D Ninety) and seal.
