The Ag Shield Recon features precision timed and lathed steel lug rollers. As hay passes through these high pressure rollers, the stems are crimped at every other inch, allowing moisture to escape quickly and easily. With crimps at every other inch there is less distance for moisture to travel in order to escape the stem. This crimping action dramatically decreases drying time. The Recon`s round rollers provide a much stronger crimp than flat rollers. The high pressure crimping also helps the swath stay fluffed which increases air flow.

Recon hay conditioners do not have a traditional pickup. The Recon`s rollers act as the pickup. This minimizes the weight of a Recon and allows for high capacity field speeds of up to 10MPH (16 KM/Hr).
