Biber - Model Vican -Power Truck
The Biber Power Truck VICAN is equipped with an intermediate gearbox specially developed for the chipping operation and only available from Eschlböck, which is installed between the truck engine and the automatic transmission. This forms the basis for more power, efficiency and comfort in chipping operation: full power reduction without losses due to intermediate drives, a powershift clutch and the chipping rotor does not have to be disengaged for moving the vehicle in driving mode.
The VICAN chassis is a Volvo FH 16 with 750 hp drive power and 3,550 Nm torque. The tridem chassis ensures full utilization of the 32 tons and the Power Truck can therefore be registered without a special permit. An 8x4 drive brings the full engine power from first gear to the first two rear axles. All functions for the chipping operation can be controlled from the operator station. Chipper and crane by means of the Best Control control system from Eschlböck and the two crane joysticks.
The proven Eschlböck cooler concept is also installed in the VICAN: Easy to clean and a constant cooling is guaranteed here. The crane was specially developed by Eschlböck in cooperation with Palfinger Epsilon and assembled from proven components. The S110F 104 has a reach of 10.4 m, which is further extended by the off-center mounting position. This overall concept allows the VICAN to powerfully showcase its 750 hp in every chipping operation.
