BSA - Polyester Farming Tankers

Made by the so called "hand laminating procedure" the tankers can be built with different wall thicknesses. Load bearing areas can be strengthened without making the container thicker and as such heavier. The container is coated with glass fibre mats and rowing fabric mats. The symmetrically plaited mats lead the generated forces into the right direction. The outer skin consists of a gel coat coating with a smooth surface and is very resistant against aggressive biogas slurry. The coating diffuses into the container and is UV- resistant.
The special heart shaped design of the container ensures a good load distribution on a relatively large surface. Furthermore, the center of gravity is very low. In the area of the pump flange the container is even placed lower in order to position the pump as near as possible. On the 6 screw attachment points of the container large dimensioned steel plates with stay bolts are laminated into the container.
The frame consists of strong beams which are positioned in a special way in order to guarantee torsional stiffness and stability. The container is connected to the frame at 6 points and rests with its whole length on the frame construction. For dispensing devices there is an additional reinforced frame at the rear. For heavy attachment devices over 3-4 point hydraulics we offer a reinforced frame made of massive profiles. This is necessary as the forces of the poly tanker can only be lead over the frame.
The tankers of BPK/BSK series are equipped with a 4 spring tandem aggregate with a compensator for height regulation. They convince with stable and safe driving behaviour on the street and on the field at any loads. In order to adjust the vertical load the axle construction can be moved back and forth. For even better manoeverabillity an air suspension can be delivered.

More than 40.000 pumps have been produced and delivered so far. Due to sophisticated technologies and outstanding material the BSA eccentric screw pump is a product with high performance and an extremely long life span. The large amount of in- house production guarantees continuous quality.
In order to choose the right profile of tyres and size the application as well as the requirements are of importance. The requirements and demands on wheels of slurry tankers are very different, especially regarding stability, driving speed and soil characteristics. BSA has the right tyres for every application. As a standard the BSA tankers are equipped with low-pressure tyres in order to meet all demands.
For better driving comfort a drawbar spring loaded via a hydraulic cylinder with nitrogen buffer can be ordered. To some extend the height of the drawbar can be adjusted. Tankers without hydraulic drawbar suspension have top link arms instead of hydraulic cylinders in order to adjust the height.
The plastic container has two respectively three indicated domes on the surface. These can be equipped with different dome lids. Either covered with a GFK plate, with a hydraulic hinged lid or with a hydraulic sliding lid, we have the right option for every application. We also offer a docking device with rubber funnel and a hydraulic valve for oversuction.
As an option there are different varieties of suction arms available. With this option it is no longer necessary to descend in order to fill the tanker. This means not only improved comfort but also the throughput times of the suction process are significantly reduced. The suction arm can be modified without any tools in order to use it either for right or left sided operation. The docking device can also be transported with the tractor front hydraulic. An suction arm which enables the filling of feeder tankers can also be delivered.
A wheel pressure control system offer the possibility to keep the tyre pressure low when spreading slurry on the field. When driving on the street the pressure can be increased again in order to keep the vehicle stable and smoothly running. Furthermore, a higher tyre pressure reduces wearing when driving on the street. In order to adjust the tyre pressure a rotary screw compressor driven by a hydraulic motor is used. Via an operating terminal in the tractor cab the limit values for operation on the field and on the street can be saved and recalled again.
The pressure distribution tanker or centrifugal tanker is used when slurry only needs to be spread and not pumped. The tanker must be filled via a filling dome or an external slurry pump. In order to spread the slurry a centrifugal pump which produces a maximum pressure of 5 bar is used. This way all common dispensing devices can be operated.
For all tridem tankers and if requested for tandem tankers we offer an electro hydraulic safety steering system EHLA as a standard. Via the steering movement given by the tractor an electronic angular sensor is activated which transmits this signal to a steering computer and this way controls the angle of the steering axle. The actual position of the axles is synchronized with the theoretical signal position and constantly adjusted. In case of errors the vehicle remains fully manoeuvrable and switches to overrun.
For contractors or machines on lease we offer two varieties of counting devices (load counters). You can choose between a mechanic counter mechanism or an electric counter mechanism. The mechanic counter mechanism is operated via an ALB controller. The electronic counter mechanism is absolutely tamper-resistant and additionally offers the function of a resettable counter which counts the daily output (similar to a trip meter in cars).
