BSA - Pressure Distribution Slurry Tankers
The pressure distribution tanker is used when slurry only needs to be spread and no suction process is necessary. The tanker needs to be filled via a filling dome or an external slurry pump. In order to spread the slurry a priming pump which produces a maximum pressure of 5 bar is used.
Advantages:
- Good price/performance ratio
- Low operating costs
- Easy to operate
- High outlet pressure
Disadvantages:
- No suction possible
- Slurry cannot be pumped from one pit to another
Our containers are an in-house production and made of quality galvanized steel sheet. The segments of the container are made by a special machine, tacked in a line and welded. In generously sized welding boxes the containers are completed with all welded attachments. For a reliable corrosion protection the containers are hot-dip galvanized.
Depending on the size of the tanker there are different chassises and axles available. Our pump tankers are built as single axle, tandem and tridem vehicles. The axles have the required loading capacity for all situations and guarantee safe handling. Tankers which have a volume of more than 10.000 liters are equipped with steering axles in order to reduce wearing of the wheels and axle parts. The tridem tankers have force-steered axles as front and rear axles. Furthermore, a tandem boogie aggregate and an air spring suspension are available.
The technical equipment of the vacuum tankers comply with all legal provisions. A pressure relief valve with a float ball in order to protect against the suction of manure. All valves are adjusted to all permitted pressures and lead sealed against misadjustment. A syphon separator also ensures that no medium gets into the pump. For the spreading process a hydraulic operated gate valve is mounted on the manhole.
In order to choose the right profile of tyres and size the application as well as the requirements are of importance. The requirements and demands on wheels of slurry tankers are very different, especially regarding stability, driving speed and soil characteristics. BSA has the right tyres for every application. As a standard the BSA tankers are equipped with low-pressure tyres in order to meet all demands.
In order to fill the vacuum tanker we offer a filling accelerator in the form of a turbo filler. The turbo filler has the operating principle of a centrifugal pump. This has the advantage that the tank can be filled further than with the compressor.
For better manoeverabillity on the street as on the field a drawbar which is spring loaded via a hydraulic cylinder with a nitron buffer can be ordered. This option is available for low and high tow.
The silencers and oil separators are ideal for cleaning the intake air when the exposure to dust is very high. Furthermore, they clean the exhaust air from oil. The oil container can be taken off by opening the clamp fasteners and then be emptied.
As an option there are different suction arms available. With this option it is no longer necessary to descend when filling the tanker. This means an increase in comfort and the running time of the suction procedure is significantly reduced. In the delivery included is a docking device with a four legged frame. On request the docking device can be mounted on the tanker or transported with the tractor front hydraulics. The suction arm with double folding can be used for suction with a normal docking device as well as for oversuction of containers at the edge of the fields or feeding vehicles. With a boom suction arm slurry can be pumped directly from the slurry pit.
For all tridem tankers and if requested for tandem tankers we offer an electro hydraulic safety steering system EHLA as a standard. Via the steering movement given by the tractor an electronic angular sensor is activated which transmits this signal to a steering computer and this way controls the angle of the steering axle. The actual position of the axles is synchronized with the theoretical signal position and constantly adjusted. In case of errors the vehicle remains fully manoeuvrable and switches to overrun.
For a better cleaning and resistance to corrosion our tankers are available with a special powder coating. In a special procedure a smooth and resistant layer of powder is applied. This layer is also suitable for mediums which have a ph value of more or less than 6-10. We recommend this option for extremely aggressive biogas slurry. Every RAL-Colour can be used for the coating, e.g in order to provide the vehicle colors of contractors.
For contractors or machines on lease we offer two varieties of counting devices (load counters). You can choose between a mechanic counter mechanism or an electric counter mechanism. The mechanic counter mechanism is operated via an ALB controller. The electronic counter mechanism is absolutely tamper-resistant and additionally offers the function of a resettable counter which counts the daily output (similar to a trip meter in cars).
A wheel pressure control system offer the possibility to keep the tyre pressure low when spreading slurry on the field. When driving on the street the pressure can be increased again in order to keep the vehicle stable and smoothly running. Furthermore, a higher tyre pressure reduces wearing when driving on the street. In order to adjust the tyre pressure a rotary screw compressor driven by a hydraulic motor is used. Via an operating terminal in the tractor cab the limit values for operation on the field and on the street can be saved and recalled again.
We offer a hydraulic compressor switch which can be operated from the tractor cab. So you can easily switch from "suction" to "pushing".
Pneumatic agitator
In order to agitate we offer a pneumatic agitator which is powered via a compressor. This option is recommended for pig slurry, as the heavy fibrous particles sink down and the slurry cannot be homogenized. For additional safety a return valve prevents the ingress of slurry into the compressor
