Powder River originated in Baker, OR in 1938, named after the Powder River, which runs through Baker. The company, founded by Al Crowson, began as a one-man welding shop. Mr. Crowson believed in building heavy-duty products that would hold up under the most rugged conditions. Powder River`s corporate headquarters are in Provo, UT, which includes a 280,000-square foot manufacturing facility sitting on 20 acres in southeast Provo. Powder River now services dealers nationwide and internationally.
