HORSCH Joker - Model RX -Compact High Speed Disc Harrow
The HORSCH Joker RX is a compact high speed disc that is ideal for precise and fast shallow tillage. Built on the robust foundation of the European Joker RT, the Joker RX has been meticulously adapted for the American market, inheriting all the esteemed qualities and capabilities of its predecessor. This includes its proficiency in shallow stubble cultivation, seedbed preparation, residue mixing, and mechanical weeding. After undergoing specific design modifications in the U.S., the Joker RX emerges as even more suited to American farming needs. With a higher underframe clearance and more space between the two rows of discs, the Joker RX is capable to effectively handle large corn residues, making it an indispensable tool for the diverse and demanding agricultural practices found across the United States.

As a trailed version, the high speed disc is available in the following working widths: 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 ft. The operational speed of up to 12 mph allows for high work rates. To precisely control the discs in the soil, the Joker RX is equipped with a wide rubber torsion suspension. This allows for a high clearance for organic material and reduces the chance of plugging. In addition to that the 17° and 17° degree angle helps to evenly work the ground and achive a superior reults. The serrated annular discs as well as the weight of the machine guarantees penetration of the machine even in dry conditions.
Depending on the equipment of tractor, the farmer can choose between an articulating hitch with cat. III or VI or an hitch kit with at. IV. Due to these and other options the Joker RX can be optimized to the farmers requirements. To prevent the machine from bouncing while working in the field, the transport wheels are equipped with an intelligent suspension system called SoftRide.

The serrated disc with a diameter of 20`` can be used in different situations. For working depths up to 6``, it reliably penetrates the soil. The serrated cutaways allow for an excellent incorporation of high amounts of straw. The serrated profile almost completely prevents the discs from stopping even in very light soils. Small disc diameter for high rotational speeds and a high production of fine soil.

The Vortex disc is ideal for a shallow use up to 3 inch. Due to the large contact area, a lot of material is crushed but is only mixed in to a limited extent.

The RingFlex packer impresses due to its excellent load-carrying capacity on light and medium soils. Moreover, it guarantees a good consolidation. Depending on the conditions, it can also be used as a winter packer by removing individual rings.
