Compost Mats for Mushroom Farming
CompostMat is a highly durable product designed specifically for energy-efficient composting in mushroom farming. With excellent air permeability thanks to its unique weaving structure, it minimizes the narrowing effect and ensures long-lasting performance due to its woven self-edges. Typically used in conjunction with PhormiGlide to reduce friction during compost handling, the CompostMat range includes several variants tailored to different phases of composting. CompostMat Forza, reinforced with Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWP), is ideal for Phase II and Phase III composting. CompostMat Ultima, even more reinforced with UHMWP, is suitable for Phase I composting. These mats facilitate efficient compost management, making them a critical component in mushroom farming operations.
The highly robust CompostMat provides a substantial energy saving during Phase III composting thanks to its exceptional air permeability. Because of the unique weaving structure the mat only has a limited narrowing effect. The woven selfedges ensure a good durability. CompostMat is preferably used together with PhormiGlide in order to reduce the friction whilst pulling the compost in and out the tunnel.
CompostMat Forza is similar to the regular CompostMat but reinforced with Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWP). That is why it is suitable for Phase II and Phase III composting.
CompostMat Ultima is even more reinforced with UHMWP and suitable for Phase I composting.
