Bandit - Model 65XP 6 inch -Disc-Style Hand Fed Chippers

• The Model 65XP has a fast feed rate of 80 feet per minute that will easily keep two people busy feeding it. A powerful single, pivoting feed wheel that is 10-5/8 inches in diameter by 11-1/2 inches wide driven by a large 32.7 CID hydraulic motor provides plenty of pulling power that will pull and compress limby, hard-to-manage material. Production is increased with this powerful feed system, thus limiting trimming and chainsaw work. An optional dual-feed wheel system can be added for additional pulling and compressing power. Material is fed and is chipped at 90-degree angle to the chipper disc, also making it effective with processing viney, stringy, and brushy materials.
• The approximate weight of this unit, depending upon selected options, is 1,850 pounds for gas engines and 2,700 pounds for diesel engines. This includes the durable 26 inch diameter by 3/4 inch thick chipper disc and solid chassis construction using continuous steel welds as opposed to bolt-together techniques. Component weight is distributed and supported on a sturdy, balanced frame that provides the necessary physical reinforcement for chipping while allowing the machine to be towed easily.
• The Model 65XP has a 7 gallon hydraulic tank and an 8 gallon fuel tank. The discharge can manually rotate 360 degrees and has an adjustable deflector for directional control of the broadcasted chips. Optional upgrades including automatic feed system governor, swivel and height adjustable discharge options, and a robust dual-wheel feed system are available. A full palette of standard and custom paint colors gives you the freedom to choose the look of your brand or company.
• The Model 65XP, as with all Bandit chippers, is designed and equipped with operator safety in mind. Standard items that accommodate any chipper package include guards that cover all moving parts, engine disabling plugs, disc / drum locks, wooden push paddles, safety control bar, and other Bandit patented and patent pending devices such as the "last chance" cables.
