FieldMate Spreader controller is supplied in either of two solution configurations:
Option 1: Single Floor Solution.
This mode allows the user to control the single floor of a fertilizer truck or fertilizer. The system will also work to feed out gravel for grit spreading machines.
The FieldMate has two solenoid drive units, one unit can drive the hydraulic valve for the floor, while the other can drive the hydraulic proportional valve for the spinner.
The spinner speed in the software controlled, the user can simply set the speed of the spinner, when the spinner is turned off the spinner will slowly turn off to ensure the valve system is keep in good condition.
Variable spreader rates from 25 kg/hect to 5000+ kg/hect (provided the spreader has the bin capacity to achieved the desired rates). The spreading rate is simply entered into the monitor and can be adjusted at any time. The display will display the actual spreading rate of the spreader , the spreading rate is back calculated from the speed for the floor, spreader speed and other user inputs to give a "Real World" spreader rate, giving peace of mind that the users requested spreading rate is being achieved. When in use the monitor displays can also display the following information:
- Area spread
- Distance spread, working rate, Sub area
- Hour timers
- Clock and calendar
- Weight of fertilizer spread for this job
- Valve PWM drive level
- Instant Report on screen of all work done
- Report down loading to office computer (optional)
- GPS mapping control (optional)
- Spreader trailer Steering (Optional)
Option 2: Twin Floor solution.
This mode allows the user to control the twin floor of a fertilizer truck or fertilizer wagon. The system will also work to feed out gravel for grit spreading machines.
The FieldMate has two solenoid drive units, one unit can drive the left floor and the other solenoid can drive the right floor. This feature of being able to turn either floor side off allows the spreader to stop spreading on one side of the spreader to assist with preventing material from being applied to areas that are to remain fertilizer free.
The spinner is driven from a manually adjustable valve with a electric solenoid control. Variable spreader rates from 25 kg/hect to 5000+kg/hect (provided the spreader has the bin capacity to achieved the desired rates).
The spreading rate is simply entered into the monitor and can be adjusted at any time. The display will display the actual spreading rate of the spreader , the spreading rate is back calculated from the speader for the floor information, spreader speed and other user inputs to give a "Real World" spreader rate, giving peace of mind that the users requested spreading rate is being achieved.

The monitor is simple, easy to use and 100% reliable with many features and tools built into the Monitor to diagnose any system issues that may arise.
Design to fit into new or old fertilizer trucks, tractors, wagons, grit trucks, or older fertilizer trucks, wagon or grit trucks. Replacing the mechanical gearbox and turning an older fertilizer spreader in to a new machine with easy calibration and accuracy and setup simplicity you would expect from a state of art electric/hydraulic spreader solution.
The kit can be supplied fully built up into a plug and go solution with wiring loom and all sensors ready to plug in. Custom wiring looms are supplied to perfectly fit your spreader setup. Please note the hydraulic valve system is not supplied with the the kit.
