West - Model 14T/16T -Grain/Silage Trailer
Built for strength and durability, the range of monocoque trailers from Harry West have been developed to tackle the toughest working conditions on the land. Available in 14 & 16 tonne models, each features a parallel chassis with monocoque constructed tapered body for easy unloading, and commercial sprung axles.
Body. Monocoque design constructed in 4mm sides with 5mm thick floor and 3mm extensions on the 14t & 16t models for maximum strength.
The rear door is fully hydraulic operation with mechanical catches for a solid closure. The tapered body is equipped with access ladders at the front and inside for easy front access.
Hydraulic Rams. The trailers are lifted on three-stage chrome rams and feature long-life, hard-wearing seals.
Chassis. The chassis is ruggedly constructed from 250 x 150 x 8mm box section with load-bearing cross-members and extra strong ram and pivot mounting plates.
Reducer bushes are supplied for the ring hitch.
Axles. Heavy duty beams with monocoque type hubs and wide cam, hydraulically operated brakes. Axles have steel hubs with cast iron 10-stud drums and larger format brakes as standard.
Sprung drawbars are standard.
Road Lighting. All trailers are equipped with full L.E.D. road lighting to MOT requirements. Rear lights are positioned under the trailer for added protection against accidental damage.
Optional Extras. A wide range of optional extras are available to suit individual requirements, including side loading silage sides, side loading, air/abs braking, roll over sheets & grain chute.
All trailers are robustly constructed from first class materials and all welds are by the M.I.G process. All our trailers are built to high standards for quality and reliabiltiy.
