The toweryarder GRIZZLY 1000, an in-house construction of Herzog Forsttechnik Plc., is the answer to the economical difficult situation of impassible locations. The maximal rage of 1000m makes it possible to reduce the investments for forest roads to a minimum. This doesn`t only save money but is also an advantage for nature and ecology of the forest.

The toweryarder Grizzly 1000 can be used as 2 rope device with 1000m rage for uphill use and for 550m horizontal or downhill use. Due to the big traction force of the winch, the use of this machine is very economical. 3- or 4-axis lorrys with all-wheel drive may be used as basic vehicle for the Grizzly 1000. Optionally the drive of the yarder can be made with an additional engine or with the lorry`s Diesel.
