It all started with the development of the EASY-MATIC pinbone remover in 1998 and since then the development has gone very fast regarding quantity of machines and other equipment for the fish processing industry.

Almost 500 EASY-MATIC pinbone removers are in operation worldwide including of Tasmania, Chile, Alaska, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and South Africa, so everywhere where salmon and trouts are being produced you will find a pinbone remover from Kaj Olesen A/S. This has only been possible due to high quality and first class service. To-day the company is exporting more than 85% of it turnover partly through agents and partly directly from the factory in Denmark.

Production of other types of equipment for the fish processing industry began in year 2000 and has also been developing rapidly since and at this time includes projection of complete process lines.

Based on standard equipment Kaj Olesen A/S has specialized itself in design and production of tailor-made equipment such as Fish Turner, Fish Distributor, salmon and Tuna slicer, adjustable workstations, packing tables as well as trimming lines etc.

Today Kaj Olesen A/S has its own development department responsible for improvement of present equipment and development of new machines. Approximately 20 responsible and faithful persons are working in the company´s own workshop, which secure quality and supply guarantee.

Workshop and store area spans, at the moment, 1200 square meters.

The factory is situated in Nørre Nebel on the west coast of Jutland.

It is the company´s policy only to produce quality equipment and constant maintain the highest possible service level including own service technicians travelling worldwide, and be able to guarantee at any time good function of equipment, which can improve the quality and yield and at the same time reduce the manual handling based on innovation and the latest technique available enabling us to offer individual solutions more than machines.
