EGC - Liquid Nematicide
EGC Liquid is a nematicide which can be applied to managed amenity turf through an appropriate sprayer. It is formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC) containing 99% garlic extract. Utilising Ecospray’s patented technology it has a stabilised and recognised DAS fingerprint delivering consistent performance it is the only nematicide approved for use on managed amenity turf.

When used as a nematicide and dependent on the timing of application and growth stage (e.g. egg, L1 and L2 larval stages) trials have demonstrated it can also have an impact on other pests of managed amenity turf such as Leatherjackets (Tipula spp.). Additionally there is an incidental label approval when used as a nematicide for the reduction of fusarium (Microdochium nivale). Furthermore trials have demonstrated that it will also impact on some other diseases of turf such as Pythium spp. Sample Approval refers to the specific label for the country concerned.
