Used in combination with our high-quality bale wrap, it makes bales easy and convenient to handle while improving the preservation of energy and nutrient content. Silage bales that are baled with our mantle film have a considerably higher density and more stable shape than those made with nets because the mantle film can be stretched tighter around the bales. Our mantle film is patented (EP2516134) due to its unique recipe and manufacturing technique. Its main characteristic is its high elasticity, which allows the film to be pre-stretched at a high level in the baler and provide the highest bale output in the market.

Our Trioworld Loop mantle film contains minimum of 30% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content, which comes from used agricultural films. This helps close the baled silage plastic loop and decreases your carbon footprint by at least 50%.

Our mantle film offers several major benefits for the storage of silage and during the feeding process. Silage stretch film and mantle film can be opened and removed in a single step using an automatic opener. This means that manual handling can be minimised. The waste film can then all be recycled in the same waste fraction, which saves a lot of time-consuming work. If bales are wrapped with nets the silage can freeze in winter, meaning added work and a waste of valuable forage.

All our mantle film reels come with a unique one-piece sleeve packaging, which is also patented. It offers perfect edge protection so reels don’t get damaged during transport and handling. It is also a single material and can be recycled in the same fraction as mantle film and bale wrap.
