NNZMesh Bags for Retail and Transport Packaging

SHARE
Mesh bags serve as versatile packaging solutions primarily targeted for produce and industrial applications. These bags are available in various types, such as wicket and non-wicket woven mesh bags known as leno, knitted mesh bags like raschel, monofilament bags, and rollstock baler bags. The woven leno bags are designed for automated packing lines, suitable for packaging weights from 2.5 up to 50 kg, with varying thread sizes and mesh weights that influence their strength. Knitted raschel bags, also polyethylene, come in standard sizes for weights up to 50 kg, and offer optional handles, drawstrings, and printed labels. While woven monofilament mesh bags cater to robust items like nuts and shellfish, knitted variants are more flexible, appropriate for softer items like bulbs. Rollstock baler bags are efficient for products like onions, enabling breathability from packing to retail and streamlining production with drawstring-topped designs facilitating easy palletization. Their polyethylene construction supports quality and speed in packaging operations.

These type of leno bags can be applied on automated packing lines. Different mesh weight, thread size or weaving pattern result in different strengths of the bags.

Knitted mesh bag (Raschel)

The polyethylene knitted (Raschel) mesh bags are supplied on rolls and as single bags. Bags on rolls can be supplied in a range of standard sizes to pack weights up to 25 kg, optional with handle and printed label. Single mesh bags can be supplied in a range of standard sizes to pack weights up to 50 kg, optional with handle, drawstring and printed label. The bags are produced in different mesh types with different netting weights.

Monofilament mesh bag

Woven monofilament mesh bags are commonly used for packing hard products such as firewood, nuts, shellfish and chestnuts. Knitted monofilament mesh bags are softer and more supple than woven bags and therefore more suitable for products such as bulbs and potatoes.
