Designed with large capacity Cage-Free Production in mind, providing ease of management and bird movement. It has a pyramid shape that allows for easy access to the birds in the system. After strong user feedback from experienced producers, this system was designed to optimize daily management and provide longer-lasting reliability.
The Layer Volary is a Multi-tier Aviary System designed for large capacity Cage Free production. Available with integrated floors. Each row per floor is equipped with three feeder loops (with the options of two depending on bird density), nests on the second tier, and three water lines, one on the first tier and two in front of the nests. A system designed to minimize floor eggs and reduce labor costs, thanks to its slanted floors in every tier that direct the egg to center egg belts (with two 10in. belts at nest level and standard 4in. on other tiers. When installing it with integrated floors, the system comes equipped with an extra manure belt to collect the waste from under the system, and an extra egg belt to collect under system eggs on the second floor. At ground level, it is equipped with litter scrapers, simplifying management for cage free production.
