Tume-Agri Super Nova Combi - Multipurpose Seed and Fertilizer Drill

The machine’s coulter penetration and debris – proofness are in a class of their own: The coulters and rear wheels on this machine are staggered in the driving direction.

Support wheel set is very spacious, it follows the shape of the field surface and rolls it with even pressure. It conforms to the field surface by hydraulic pressure and closes the seed furrow precisely, because each support wheel works as a closing wheel at the same time. Super Nova 3000 has 9 wheels and Super Nova 4000 has 12 wheels.

Nova Combi is known for its front wheels. One front wheel guides only two coulters. This allows for significant vertical irregularities in the field while keeping the sowing depth correct. The front wheel presses the straw down before sowing and the wheel reacts by raising the coulters when obstacles are encountered. Sowing depth/germination is not affected by the hopper fill level or driving speed.

The Tume Super Nova Combi is a multipurpose seed and fertilizer drill for all cultivation methods and soil types. The machine is suitable for direct seed sowing, minimum tillage and traditional seed sowing. The Super Nova Combi brings farming into the next generation, with its ISOBUS compatibility. Super Nova Combi can be used also with tractors that don’t have ISOBUS. Seed and fertiliser are fed by electric motors, and the machine can be halved on both the right and left side. The size of the hoppers has also been increased: On a 4 m machine, the volume is already over 5.5 m3. Super Nova Combi is safe to use – it has good platforms, stairs and rails.  Spacious construction makes maintenance easier.

Hydraulic rear harrow

Included standard with the machine is a hydraulic rear harrow, which operates independently on cylinders. You can choose the function of the rear harrow using a remote control unit in the tractor cab: Leave it down at the field ends. Have it follow the raising and lowering of the machine. Or, leave the rear harrow up, even when sowing, such as when direct sowing on a thick straw bed.

Precise working depth

Field surfaces are not always dead flat. The coulters must be able to follow any contours they encounter. Tume’s Nova Combi guarantees the most consistent furrows. The same technology can also be found on the new model: one front wheel steers two coulters, as needed. This has a positive effect, in that the front wheel compacts the soil and presses any plant residue before sowing. The coulter opens and closes the sowing furrow more reliably.

ISOBUS controller

The Super Nova Combi is an officially approved ISOBUS-compatible seed drill. Remote control of fertilizer, seed and hay seed / starter phosphorus.

Spacious and simple coulter structure

In Tume rear wheel seed drills the transport wheel is always located so that it works as a compaction wheel at the same time. This enables spacious and simple coulter structure. By this solution we can guarantee at least 40 kg compaction weight on each seed row even in direct seeding and with maximum coulter pressure. This is more than what most of the others can offer with a separate closing wheel solution.
