This policy, implemented since 2008 according to the guidelines of ISO 9001:2008, was performed in order to define a set of goals aimed at the continuous improvement of the company, to ensure compliance with legal requirements, the satisfaction of our customers and try to meet their expectations. Seipasa’s products are intended for a clean and sustainable agriculture, they are manufactured minimizing water and energy consumption, and maximizing recycling and waste management.

SEIPASA has a policy to protect the environment and to contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture. The environment is one of the priorities of our company.

Our integrated management system, according to the guidelines of the ISO 14001:2004, is able to identify problems, reduce risks and ensure the continuous improvement of processes.

To guarantee that the processes developed in SEIPASA, S.A. don’t have a negative impact on the environment, the company has implemented many measures, some of them are:

SEIPASA, S.A. has always wanted to be among the best companies regarding quality and environmental respect, and for this reason we continuously adapt our Quality and Environmental Policy to our new objectives, adapting it to the new needs.

Being environmentally responsible, allowed SEIPASA to get the Biodiversity Award in 2007 as the best agricultural producer of inputs, granted by the Biodiversity Foundation (Ministry of Environment).

An EMAS company

Seipasa has achieved the highest recognition in Europe for a company in terms of environmental sustainability, in each stage of production and product application. It is the only Spanish company specialized in natural treatments for agriculture that has this certificate.

EMAS Register

SEIPASA has the highest recognition in Europe for a company in terms of environmental sustainability: the implementation of the Regulation (EC) No. 1221/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the voluntary participation by organizations in a Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). A maximum environmental guarantee that places SEIPASA among the first Spanish companies that manufacture natural phytosanitary products from vegetable origin to receive this certification.

The EMAS Register (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) recognizes organizations that have not only implemented an Environmental Management System (EMS), but have also made a commitment to continuous improvement, checked by independent audits.

SEIPASA, S.A. has registered its production facilities in the Generalitat Valenciana (No. ES-CV-000057) and has implemented this system to its factory.

Integrated Environmental Authorization (IPPC)

Exhaustive controls of air emissions, noise and waste, guarantee the absence of contamination in the production process.

IPPC Integrated Environmental Authorization

The General Direction of Environmental Quality of Valencia granted the company SEIPASA, S.A. on 23th July 2013, with the integrated environmental authorization number 672/AAI/CV.

This resolution of the Consellería de Medio Ambiente, allows the company, in order to protect the environment and people’s health, to operate ensuring that its industrial facilities meet the requirements of Law 16/2002 of Integrated Prevention and Control Pollution.

SEIPASA, S.A. meets environmental requirements for air emissions control, noise control, waste control and the management and control of waste throughout a plan developed to minimize them. This authorization puts us at the forefront of the industry in terms of compliance with environmental regulation.
