Alstor - Model 822 -Optimal Forest Management Machine
The optimal forest management machine for all work from rough wind traps to smooth and gentle thinning. Now comes the successor to our sales success Alstor 821. Our brand new machine Alstor 822. A Swedish-made machine means that you get a forest machine with very good reliability and quality. The machine is built in high-strength steel with a fully protected and centered propeller shaft. The machine`s articulated steering, high ground clearance and eight-wheel drive mean that you can always take the shortest route in the forest and thus achieve high capacity, efficiency and not least comfort. The machine can be easily transported on a regular car trailer and in combination with a high transport speed, it simplifies accessibility to the land.
Alstor 822 has a completely new front chassis where the removable belly plate creates very good service friendliness. Driver ergonomics have been optimized with expanded storage, flat floors, improved driving position and better access in and out of the machine on both sides. Traction is greatly improved with a 24 hp Yanmar engine. The new variator provides better control and power in difficult and advanced terrain. The new simplified driveline provides better braking ability and creates better service friendliness and reliability. Alstor 822 now also has electrically lockable differential gears, which gives even better flexibility and maneuverability and gives even less impression in forests and land. The newly developed timber nest has stronger banks and a design that facilitates loading. The new design also makes it easier to adapt to Alstor's different load concepts and special adaptations.
