UniRAM® Pipe with self-compensating dripper represents a significant breakthrough in drip irrigation technology, offering unparalleled durability and functionality. The dripper itself acts as a chemical anti-root barrier thanks to the additive added during its manufacturing. This prevents the roots from developing inwards through a chemical formulation, inert for plants but which acts as a repellent for the roots.

It allows working with treated wastewater that has normally used chlorine as a biocidal agent in a tertiary treatment. This option makes it easier for us and increases the duration of our drippers in current water environments of different qualities and origins.

The anti-clogging secret

The patented TurboNET® labyrinth generates an effective turbulent flow capable of expelling from the dripper any dirt particles that have managed to pass through the filters and reach the inside of the dripper. This toothed labyrinth causes great turbulence that is strong enough to expel out of the dripper any particle of dirt that could penetrate inside it. This turbulence is caused thanks to the innovative and effective design of the labyrinth and the arrangement of its sharp teeth. There are no laminar flow zones inside the dripper, thus eliminating the high risk of sedimentation.
It is also worth highlighting the separation of flow and low pressure zones (vacuum) that these fine, sharp teeth create, in turn causing high drag and, as we have mentioned previously, strong turbulence that prevents the sedimentation of waste.
