Kett - Model PR920 -Rice Flour Moisture Meter
This simple-to-use instrument provides instant, non-destructive moisture content measurement in rice flour and other powder products. The PR920 builds on our years of success with grain testers, and a worldwide standard for rice measurement instruments, providing customers with a simple, portable, instant measuring device for flour moisture. In addition, a factory calibration is provided for milled (white) rice, allowing the user to have one compact instrument for both application.
Rice flour demand is surging because of its unique sweet taste texture and nutritional value. It is increasingly being used for bread, confections and noodles. In some areas of the world, rice flour is replacing wheat flour in many applications as it is more readily available and provides a higher caloric count.
The PR920 moisture tester has factory calibrations covering rice flour, long-grain milled rice and short-grain milled rice. Two sampling trays are provided for the flour and two additional sample trays for the milled rice.
