Roll Curtain System
VES Environmental Solutions, LLC robust curtain systems withstand the test of time with our proven drive technology, durable curtain and high quality aluminium extrusion tube designed to keep the curtain rolling straight, even over distances up to 500΄ (contact VES for proper installation and measurements). This curtain system is the easiest and quickest to install, lowering your upfront cost. The 100% aluminium keder, hanging strip, roll tubes and splice give you great corrosion resistance. Our roll curtain system has great versatility and our standard components can be used in the following configurations:
TOP OPENING BOTTOM OR DOUBLE ROLLING:
The Top Opening, Bottom or Double Rolling systems are covered under the drives patent. The Bottom Rolling System is stationary and the drive is a closed loop system with pulleys that allows the curtain to drop from the top. The advantage to this system is that by opening from the top in the winter time you do not draft animals or people that are located close to the curtain opening. Depending on the height of the curtain and the configuration of the drive, we can run this system up to 500΄ lengths.
DOUBLE ROLLING CENTER ROLL TUBE SYSTEM:
For covering openings over 8’ we recommend going to the Double Rolling Center Roll Tube system. This system works similar to the Bottom Rolling System except the center roll tube is usually run with a long telescoping arm. The advantage is covering a large opening with one system, the increased speed and extra support against the wind. Depending on the height of the curtain and the configuration of the drive, we can run this system up to 330΄ lengths.
BOTTOM OPENING, ROLL UP FROM BOTTOM:
The Bottom Opening, Roll Up From Bottom system is the lowest cost and easiest to install. You install the Keder strip along the top header and then slide the curtain into the groove on the keder strip. You then slide the bottom roll bar onto the lower part of the curtain. Depending on the height of the curtain and the configuration of the drive, we can run this system up to 500’ lengths. Besides having a low install cost it will have a low cost when it comes time to change or repair the curtain.
