The Shaktiman-GRIMME Root Crop Windrower SGRW-200 is a specialized agricultural implement designed to streamline the harvesting of root crops, specifically potatoes, by using innovative technology to improve efficiency. In contrast to traditional machinery, this two-row windrower features a dual web system, a pioneering adoption in India, that enhances the sieving process, enabling the equipment to lift the entirety of potatoes from ridges in a single pass. Its design includes a second agitator web conducive to heavy digging conditions, ensuring versatile performance across various soil types. The equipment's patented foldable second web and integrated press roller with scraper optimize the visibility and picking of tubers, increasing operational efficiency while maintaining low maintenance needs. This machinery is compatible with rows spaced between 66cm to 75cm, accommodating different planting configurations. Engineered with Diablo digger wheels, it ensures reliable and precise potato harvesting.
Potatoes and other root crops are harvested worldwide using various methods and degrees of mechanisation. With its SGRW- 200, Shaktiman-GRIMME offers a mounted windrower, with worlds first PATENT APPLIED second sieving web folding mechanism (Hydraulically controlled) which was designed for various applications. Thanks to its easy handling and the minimum required tractor power of 60 hp, the SGRW-200 is the perfect machine to start mechanised harvest of potatoes. The centered placement is common when the potatoes are collected by hand. In addition to protecting the crop and improving sieving performance, the “enhanced harvesting process” significantly increases the output as compared to conventional potato diggers.
