AKVA - Model Sub-Fighter 30K -ROV System with Drill Rock
An economical and safe way to perform underwater inspections, maintenance and control of installations down to a depth of 10,500m. The aquaculture industry is constantly evolving, pens are becoming larger and deeper, and sea temperatures are changing. Moorings and seabed should be checked and inspected visually and through sediment samples. Moorings and seabed should be checked and inspected visually and through sediment samples.
- Standard interface for SUB-fighter ROV 15k & 30k
- Hydraulic drill for Ø75 mm hole
- Neutral buoyant for easy ROV handling subsea
- Frame can be extended for long hole drilling
- Remote controlled from the ROV pilot console
Together with ROV users, we have developed a method where the pens are washed. The new pens are now as large as 120, 160 and 200 meters in diameter, with depths down to 60 meters.
It is not possible to pull these out for cleaning, but they must be cleaned by divers or with net cleaners pulled up and down.
Through our ROV net cleaner project, we have found a solution that can interface ROV to all types of pens. With ROV you can work efficiently 24 hours a day without decompression and break. This is an economical and safe way to clean pens. This is the future of inspection and maintenance.
The ROV as illustrated in the picture is capable of drilling holes in the seabed for mooring purposes.
