The active ingredient in SANOMED irritates the exo-skeleton of shrimp and induces the molting process thereby eliminating zoothamnium.By virtue of its disinfecting properties, SANOMED is also useful in treating external bacterial / fungal infections like bacterial gill disease caused of fish / shrimps. Unlike conventional forms of molting-inducers, the active ingredient in SANOMED is slowly released into the environment and attacks the target pathogens even virus , without causing any damage/stress to the shrimp/prawn/fish.
